Assuming you're attempting to print with an unfilled cartridge, it's conceivable that the printer's ink counters Epson connect services are set to "Low", and it will not permit you to print. Take a stab at resetting the ink counters on the printer. Each model is unique, yet it's for the most part open through the printer's web interface. If resetting the ink counters doesn't work, the printer might be broken. Take a stab at interfacing one more gadget to the printer, and check whether that gadget can print.
