The Palace on Wheels is a luxury train in India, operated jointly by Indian Railways and the Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC). Launched on 26 January 1982, it offers a 7-night, 8-day journey covering destinations like Jaipur, Udaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Bharatpur, Agra, and more, starting and ending in New Delhi. The train comprises 14 coaches, each named after a former princely state of Rajasthan, and includes 39 deluxe cabins and 2 super deluxe cabins. Onboard amenities feature two dining cars—The Maharaja and The Maharani—serving Indian, continental, and Chinese cuisine, a lounge bar, spa services, and Wi-Fi access.
