What I Learned From Doing Direct Mail, Driving For Dollars, SEO, Facebook Ads, and Google Ads

I wanted to share this brief tip to let people know how marketing has gone for my real estate venture, Quick Home Buyers NJ. Whether you're an agent, wholesaler, or investor... your experience could be different. This comes from spending thousands of dollars.

Direct Mail

Direct mail can work, but is expensive and requires the right copywriting and the right list. I did a brief bit of direct mail, but decided to wait as I know it takes a lot more dedication and validation. But I have seen others succeed.

Driving For Dollars

Of course, this works, but it takes time and effort. I don't want to give up my Saturdays driving around collecting addresses to send direct mail to.

SEO

SEO works wonders, but it is a long term investment. It is like putting money into an investment account. You don't expect it to work right away, but patience can pay off.

Facebook Ads

We got dirt cheap leads here, but most of them were crap. They needed more nurturing. This hasn't been my experience with traditional real estate, where my marketing company, WebRocket, makes a killing for our agents.

Google Ads

Doing Google ads without knowing what you're doing is like stepping into a boxing ring without training... you're going to get killed! The first two months we were getting demolished, until we refined the process a bit. Google ads were our big winner in the end. Our business really turned a corner once we got the ads dialed in properly.
