I ignored email availability - big mistake

submitted 4 months ago by gayaj74 to business

Confession: I used to design emails purely for aesthetic reasons. Fancy fonts, low-contrast text, images without alt-text - anything. Then someone wrote to me saying they couldn't read anything because they had bad eyesight. That hit me hard. I was literally shutting people out without realizing it. It wasn't hard to fix - proper contrast, clear fonts, good HTML structure, and making sure the emails worked with screen readers. Basic things that make a huge difference. Don't make my mistake.
