Before pregnancy I ate anything. Samosa. Chai. Biscuits. But after diagnosis my sugar used to jump like anything. One time I ate a small pack of glucose biscuits. My sugar went to 190. I got scared. Then my dietician explained one thing. She said your body cannot handle sugar alone. You need to add something with it. That something is protein or fat.
