Hello everyone!
Ever feel the smart contract audit cost is a big concern? What gets 'em going?
I've been reading into the cost factors of smart contract audits, and man, variations abound! Any of you guys out there on your toes, trying to manage the budget for this?
The large factors influencing the audit price tag:
Contract Complexity: A simple token contract? That's one price. A DeFi protocol with a million moving parts? The bill will be much heftier.
Project Timeline: Audits take time, the quicker you need it, the more it'll cost.
Audit Scope: Looking to just check for basic security or wanting a full code review plus gas optimization? Well, it's gonna hurt your pocket a bit more if it's detailed.
Auditor Reputation: Any commodity with experience and expertise comes at a cost. An actually very reputed audit firm is going to charge one for their services but may save one more money in the long run.
Any other insights towards smart contract audit cost? Let's share some tips!
