Saw a post saying “Get rewarded just for watching movies” and instantly thought, yeah, right… Probably clickbait? Cineflicks is planning to make that idea part of an actual streaming experience. With free basic streaming and a planned Watch-to-Earn model, your time on the platform could eventually come with $CNF rewards.
Earning while you’re lying back and watching your favourite shows doesn’t have to sound like a whimsical dream anymore. Cineflicks’ Watch-to-Earn model is planned to reward viewers for the time they spend watching content. The platform intends to track viewing activity and connect it with $CNF rewards based on watch time, so the more time you spend engaged with content, the more that activity can count toward your rewards.
You won’t have to keep track of everything manually either. Rewards are intended to build up automatically in your account, with a clear history showing what you watched, what you earned and how those rewards were calculated.
Tired of paying every month? Annoyed by switching platforms just to follow different shows? Feel like streaming has become a little too one-sided?
That’s where Cineflicks starts doing things differently. It plans for free basic streaming across movies, TV shows, web series, documentaries and originals, with Hindi, Tamil, Marathi and English content also in the mix.
But the real difference comes while you watch. Traditional OTTs usually stop at entertainment. Cineflicks plans to add rewards around that same viewing time. So you still come for the content first, but your binge could end with a little more than just the credits.
The reward is nice. What you can do with it is much more interesting. Cineflicks plans to make those tokens useful across the platform, whether that means accessing premium content, using exclusive features, joining special events or taking part in promotional campaigns. Creators are also expected to use $CNF for content listing fees.
There’s another extra in the mix too. Hit certain milestones, and you could open Mystery Boxes with bonus tokens, premium content access or exclusive platform perks. That’s the idea: $CNF is not meant to just sit in your account. The idea is to keep it moving through the Cineflicks experience.
The full Cineflicks streaming experience is still on the way, but the $CNF presale is already live. $CNF has a fixed supply of 100 billion tokens, with 16 billion allocated to the public sale and 20 billion planned for Watch-to-Earn rewards.
