Thiagarajar School of Management (TSM) began with the aim to impart professional education to managers who had a burning desire to scale up their career potential with better managerial skills. The 56 year old institute is located in the heart of Madurai city, in a lush green 17- acre campus with global standard infrastructure. 100% Placement Assistance, Development Immersion Programme, Rural Immersion Programme, loaded with assignments so that you can easily manage corporate work, ethics and values are given importance. Thiagarajar School of Management (TSM) a premier Business School in Madurai, Tamilnadu was established in 1962 by Shri. Karumuthu Thiagaraja Chettiar, who is known as the “father of arts”. The institute was the first of its kind in Tamil Nadu. The institute offers PGDM and MBA, both of which are recognised by AICTE. The institute is an autonomous body. The 17-acre campus is located in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. It also offers rural and development programmes. Students pay 8.67 lacs for PGDM and 8.27 lacs for MBA as the Course fee for 2 Years Residential Programmes. Even though the two courses are similar, their structures vary slightly. The PGDM has a more flexible, practical curriculum. Students can pick from electives in the following fields - Finance, Marketing, Human Resource, Operations, Business Analytics and Systems. A career enhancement programme prepares students for placement. TSM has a number of corporate partners, such as Colgate, HDFC, Honeywell, Amazon, Kurlon, ITC, Airtel, Jio, ICICI Bank, TCS, OYO, BlueStar, Coca Cola, Cub, Zoho, Max, Heinz, Nestle, Asian Paints and Aditya Birla Group. The placement drive starts in August and goes on till February. It aims at achieving 100% placement every year. Summer internships are a part of the course. While MBA students intern for 2 months, PGDM students intern for 3 months. The institute administers a rural development immersion programme in collaboration with TATA-DHAN. It allows students to come up with business plans, allowing them to think like social entrepreneurs. A number of workshops and seminars are held to ensure the holistic development of students.
