Today Our Lash would like to share with you the complete operation steps of doing eyelash extensions. I hope it’ll be a little helpful to new eyelash technicians or the girls who’re going to do lash extensions but want to know more about eyelash extensions in advance. Step 1: Get ready for disinfection and tools. The first thing we should do is disinfect, after the customer lies down, put the towel on the customer's forehead to cover the customer's eyebrows to prevent contact with customers' skin. Before operation, we should first use disinfectant to sterilize our own hands, and then the tools will be used in the following process. During the infection lash technician can talk with customers, which can increase the relationship between each other as well as showing the customers the lash technician’s own aesthetics, impress & relax the customer, the following works will be easier to go on. Step 2: Clean the eyelash extensions and take care of them. Clean and remove the dirt on the false eyelashes to ensure that the eyelashes are clean, so as not to affect the adhesion of the glue of the subsequent grafting eyelashes. Clean each real eyelash carefully, then cut the tapes according to the shape of eyes and stick it under the eye (mainly to prevent glue sticking to the skin). Step 3: Segregation upper and lower eyelash Cut a suitable size of isolation film (medical tape, eye mask, eye sticker) and separate the upper and lower lashes. This can avoid mixing the upper and lower lashes (Mixing will cause the glue of the grafted lashes to stick to the lashes without grafting or eyelids) Step 4: Straighten out customer’s real eyelash Use an eyelash comb or tweezers to straighten out lashes one by one so that false lashes can be glued to customer’s lashes one by one. Step 5: Prepare lash extensions for the customer According to the length of the customer's eyelashes, choose suitable lashes of different lengths you’ll use for your design and combine all length lines on the lash pallet. False eyelashes are glued on the original eyelashes one (one piece or one fan) by one, and can match different lengths according to the radian and length of their eyelashes. Step 6: Start grafting eyelashes Eyelash attachment can cause a little nervous because the pointed tweezers work on the eyelids, but if the customer's eyelids are tight, it can cause problems for the grafted eyelashes, so try to relax the customer and then graft one by one: 1. Shake the glue to shake up the minerals; 2. Squeeze appropriate amount of glue on the glue tray, take less glue each time, but take glue frequently. 3. Grab the end of the eyelash with tweezers, dip about 2/3 of the root into the glue, and then gently pull it out. 4. The eyelash that stuck glue sticks to the flank of true eyelash, stick about 0.5mm--1mm from the root, cannot exceed 1.5mm. 5 .Each false eyelash is grafted onto a real one. 6. At least two thirds of the length of your eyelashes is adhered to the false eyelashes, and the curve of the grafted eyelashes should be consistent. 7. Keep the grafted lashes away from the next lashes to avoid sticking to each other. Step 7: Check the finished lash designs After grafting, clean it again with an eyelash brush to detect whether the adhesion is firm. If there is shedding or grafting is not satisfactory, it needs to be repaired and trimmed. Step 8: Dry eyelashes Use an eyelash fan blowing eyelash for 5-10 minutes until it is not dazzling after opening an eye. However, it takes about half an hour for the glue to dry out. During this time, sensitive customers may shed tears. Lash technicians should explain to customers that it’s normal occasions and rest for a while until the glues dry out she will feel better. Step 9: Clean eyelids Remove the cling film from the lower eyelid and wipe the lower eyelid with a paper towel or dry cotton swab. This is just the general process, in practice there’re more details should be pay attention to, and only with a lot of practices can a lash technician become qualified and professional.
