Turkish energy giant Karadeniz Holding has purchased Seatrium’s AmFELS shipyard in Brownsville, Texas for $51.7 million. This strategic move marks the company’s first U.S. shipyard, strengthening its ability to build and maintain floating power plants under its Karpowership brand.
