As the manager of a small pediatric clinic, and to improve our compliance program, we are asking if we actually need to screen each employee every month for OIG screening? Can we screen a smaller team every quarter instead? We want to follow the rules; however, doing a manual lookup of each staff member every month has become time intensive. What does the standard workflow look like in other small healthcare businesses to comply with these screening requirements without having to hire additional employees?
