FUTSALCUP: BTS Korat, 8 September 2022 The AFF Futsal Cup 2022 final between Bintang Timur Surabaya (BTS) FC from Indonesia and Hongyan Thakam FC from Thailand will take place at Terminal 21 in Korat in two days, and both teams will be vying for their first regional trophy.

Meanwhile, Hongyen Thakam easily defeated Selangor MAC 6-2 to secure their position in the championship game.
Five minutes in, Captain Katawut Phoopan scored to give his team the lead. Ten minutes later, Syed Aizad Daniel Syed Nasir equalized with a left-footed goal.
Wilson Neto’s well-placed free kick in the 13th minute gave Hongyen a 2-1 lead as they marched off to the locker room.
Even though Matheus Silva scored Selangor MAC’s second goal of the match in the 21st minute, they were unable to stop Hongyen from outplaying them for the victory, which was well-earned.
Supot Makrak scored for Hongyen in the 21st minute, followed by goals from Wittaya Duangpoo in the 22nd, Wendel Mendes in the 29th, and Amarin Akapan in the 32nd as the Thai team prepared to play in their first final this year.
