Being a part of the Chandigarh Tricity in the Indian state of Punjab, Mohali is home to the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, a cricket venue. The stadium, which also goes by the name Mohali Stadium, is widely regarded as one of the best in India for cricket. There have been numerous international cricket matches held there. It is the stadium for the Punjab Kings (previously Kings XI Punjab) of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
