A businessman from Uganda named Emmanuel Katto is pushing for a call to action for companies to play a major part in enhancing Africa's standing internationally with African mineral mining.
The vast mineral richness of Africa has long been interpreted as an indicator of the continent's potential for economic expansion. Many African countries, nonetheless, have had difficulties fulfilling this promise. Katto is aware that the continent's wealth, when combined with innovative entrepreneurship in the African resource sector, can drive change.
