In response to climate change, Emmanuel Katto, a businessman from Uganda, is advocating for innovative solutions that will preserve coffee cultivation and the means of subsistence for the farmers who grow it. African coffee growers are currently dealing with the negative effects of climate change, which include erratic weather patterns, increased pest and disease pressure, and altered precipitation cycles. Emmanuel Katto has now made it his mission to promote the preservation of the rich coffee heritage of the continent and to fight for the protection and assistance of African coffee growers' livelihoods.
