In response to climate change, Ugandan businessman Emmanuel Katto is advocating for innovative solutions that would preserve coffee cultivation and the means of subsistence for the farmers who grow it.
Coffee growers in Africa are currently dealing with the negative effects of climate change, which include erratic weather patterns, increased pest and disease pressure, and altered precipitation cycles. Katto now considers it his mission to preserve the rich coffee heritage of the continent by fighting for the preservation and support of African coffee growers' livelihoods.
