The non-profit Ascot Associates and Emka Foundation, which aims to empower young people via education, entrepreneurship, and skill development, was founded and is led by Emmanuel Katto. At an early age, Katto started a few tiny trading businesses that eventually developed into prosperous businesses. His image as a prosperous businessman in Uganda and abroad has been established by his perseverance, hard work, and astute business sense.
