The movie starts with an ex-soldier, Tomaz, finding the amulet at the outpost in the forests. It became apparent that it is where he had been stationed in the previous state, which he finally escaped to finally end it to London. Then Tomaz periodically had some flashbacks to that time and Mirian, the lady who took the shelter with him right after he spared the life when he was caught her attempting to pass the edge.
