It is India’s first, and only, weekly newspaper focused on development journalism.
The news weekly gives sustained coverage to the ideas, policies, programmes and activities that deal with the improvement of the life of people. It provides a fair, accurate and contextualised picture of today’s India, and the world, without hyping the negative.
The English edition of Blitz India was launched on February 5, 2022 in New Delhi by Amitabh Kant, the then-CEO of Niti Aayog and the present G20 Sherpa of India. A few months later, the Hindi edition of the newspaper also made its appearance. In September 2022, Blitz India was launched at a gala event in Mumbai.
Ever since its launch, Blitz India has become a must-read for policymakers, thinkers, academics and the intelligentsia.
